voting for global cooling

we have had three days of 45 degree C weather

I am incredibly grateful for our swimming pool and the new airconditioning in our office.

I'll be even more grateful if someone will tell me why it is called airconditioning. Why not aircooling?

Aircooling might be better. But I know our system here in Philadelphia heats as well as cools, and we have a humidity control device as well. So the air really is "conditioned". That said, I don't know anyone who would think that A/C refers to anything but cooling.

That picture alone make me feel cooler!
And we've been colder than ever!! Go figure.
